Koneba has supplied a 10 x 5 m Kortex Rain EI fire curtain for the theatre at the cultural centre in Rocafort, Valencia. The EI 120 textile curtain, tested in accordance with the UNE-EN 1634-1 standard and classified according to UNE-EN 13501-2, provides an EI classification, ensuring both integrity (E) and thermal insulation (I) for 120 minutes.

In theatres, proper compartmentation of the stage house from the auditorium is a fundamental requirement to limit fire spread, facilitate safe evacuation, and protect both occupants and the building structure. This type of textile fire curtain allows independent fire compartments to be created without compromising aesthetics, visibility, acoustics, or stage operability.
